Description

Our team welcomes you at the CLSC, but can also meet you wherever you feel most comfortable. Our clinical nurses offer non-judgmental support and recognize that you are the expert on your own health. We support you at your own pace, whether it's for contraception, STBBI testing, vaccinations, pregnancy tests, or help reducing or quitting vaping. We are here to inform you, listen to you, and support you so that you can make the best choices for you.

Opening hours

We offer screening services with or without an appointment. You can get tested during the following hours: 

  • Monday : 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

  • Tuesday: 11 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. 

  • Wednesday: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

  • Thursday : 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

  • Friday: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Fees

Our screening services are completely free of charge for people with a health insurance card.

Target populations

We offer screening services to people aged 14 and over. We offer specialized services to members of the following groups:

  • MSM (men who have sex with men)

  • 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals

  • Sex workers

  • Indigenous people

  • People who use drugs by inhalation or injection (IDU)

  • People who are or have been incarcerated

  • People from countries where HIV infection is endemic

Screening tests offered

We offer screening services for the following STBBIs:

  • Syphilis

  • Hepatitis A

  • Hepatitis B

  • Hepatitis C

  • Chlamydia

  • HIV

  • Gonorrhea

What if I have symptoms?

We do not offer medical consultation services if symptoms are present.

How long will it take to get my results?

Results are available within 2 to 3 weeks.

How will I get my results?

Whether they are positive or negative, your results will be delivered by phone. We can also deliver your results according to your preferences.

If your results are positive

We provide medical support if your test results come back positive.

Accessibility for people with reduced mobility

We offer the following devices for people with reduced mobility:

  • Access ramp to the entrance and for stairs

  • Obstacle-free entrance (no steps, adequate width, etc.)

  • Automatic doors

  • Parking reserved for people with reduced mobility

  • Accessible restrooms

  • Elevator

  • Accessible waiting room (space for wheelchairs, adequate sink height, etc.)
